New Hampshire Realtors see housing market rebound

DOVER, N.H. — New Hampshire Realtors say the housing market is on the rebound.
Realtors tell Foster’s Daily Democrat that historically low interest rates and prices are pushing buyers who’ve been worried about jobs to decide to enter the market.
The New Hampshire Association of Realtors says year-to-date residential sales in Rockingham County were up 2.9 percent as of August.
The Seacoast Board of Realtors reports that pending August sales of single-family and residential condominium units in 13 Seacoast towns increased 26.4 percent for single family homes and 12.8 percent for condos compared to July.
In Portsmouth, Keller Williams Coastal Realty said it closed 120 transactions in August, with $17 million in closed sales volume, representing the firm’s best sales month since it opened eight years ago.
